Rare 1967 Rolls-Royce Corniche convertible CRH3362. Right-hand drive. Handcrafted and according to Google, only a few dozen 67a convertibles were produced. Imported from the USA and registered in Sweden. Has not been driven in Europe, has been in a garage for a long time. The car belongs to a private collection.
Recent work: restored interior wood trim (water print), new roof material installed, all brake calipers cleaned, painted, seals and pistons replaced (with double pistons). Engine pressures checked and fine. Since there was a small "tick" inside, the hydraulic tappets were taken out, checked and 3 replaced. It seems that the slight ticking is caused by the pump, which receives from the camshaft to pump, which originally moves the hydraulic suspension, the system does not work, the piping has been removed by the previous owner. The brake master cylinder has also been replaced and the power has been taken from the power steering pump. The pump has been rebuilt, as has the water pump. The left rear axle and driveshaft seal has also been replaced.
The car starts and drives. The seats are in good condition. Some body parts are made of aluminum. There are scratches and dents. The engine smokes, which indicates valve seals or piston rings. In general, the engine is a powerful and well-sounding V8. The roof motor works. The left front window - sometimes works and sometimes doesn't (a typical problem is that the window relay terminals need cleaning). The driver's door sometimes doesn't open from the outside, then it has to be opened from the inside. The fuel tank cannot be filled, it leaks from the top. A new one should probably be installed (or restored).
