The Chrysler 300 series was introduced in 1955 and was referred to as the "letter series". Initially, these cars were intended to represent a fledgling offering of performance-oriented vehicles. The earliest of the series was the 300C equipped with a 300 horsepower hemi engine and a coupe body style, represented by the "C". The 1955 300 C series Chrysler sold 1,725 units and maintained its high performance coupe status thru 1962. Thereafter, Chrysler dropped the "C" and added additional body styles and engine options to their 300 series lineup.
This 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible is a stunning representation of that era. Powered by a stout 440 cubic inch engine and backed by a 727 torque flite automatic transmission, there is more than enough power available for whatever your intended usage may be. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes.
